Patience;
Learning is a lifetime process, the only time one stops learning is when one dies, thus the scholar must take the time to absorb the information, understand it and apply it. In the case of martial arts training, if the student feels frustrated with the apparent slow progress a combination of patience and perhaps a longer pace will help achieve objectives. Remember you have a lifetime to perfect the tasks.
Peripheral vision;
This term refers to the corners of the eyes, which are particularly sensitive to movement. Martial artists can use this to predict attacks and in reflex training.
Centre of gravity;
The equilibrium point where optimum balance can be obtained. From a standing position the centre of gravity is five inches down from the top of the abdomen and is called Tan Tien.

A.B.I. Attack by immobilisation
