What is Chugarkwon Knight? Chugarkown knights a series of continue personal development programme developed for the purpose of personal enrichment using martial art related physical training to instil self-confidence and skills. Chugarkwon Knights are a unique group of practitioners who share similar goals and respect for each other.
How is Chugarkwon Knights graded? As the programme is designed for personal development and each person develop at paces different from each other therefore the ranking system here is used to define the number of session attended, it is not a measure of martial art competent. However the participates must complete al the tasks set in the session as an indication of indomitable spirit an essential element in life skills development.
How do I participate in this programme? The first 10 series is to build up a foundation and also a way to build up the uniform required as a Chugarkwon knight. Thereafter then each session a colour sash is awarded for the physical training and knowledge one gain from that specific session.
How is each session being taught? The training sessions are divided into similar parts covering skills, stamina, suppleness and strategies with each session a specific theme to donate a training scenario.
How long are the sessions? Normally 6 hours in a weekend between 11am and 5pm, please refer to www.currentnews.chugarkwon-network.com for fees, venue and training content.
Where can I learn? These are weekend courses taught personally by master Chiu in Eastbourne, there will be at least three of such programmes per year. Please refer to the web site for dates of training sessions and venue.
Can anyone join? The course is open to anyone with or without martial art experience you need to work on your own pace and monitor your own personal development. The purpose of the course is to give you inspiration to train more at home and the courses are there to monitor your progress as you continue to develop.
How does one become a Chugarkwon Knight? The title Chugarkwon Knight is obtained after completing the first 10 series and Chugarkwon Black knights can be obtained after a further 10 series. After becoming Black Knights then for each additional training session a black star badge is awarded to which the practitioners will display in their uniforms to donate experience within this special organisation.
What if I missed a session? For those who missed a session within the series can continue with the programme without interruption, the only difference is that the award given will be the previous session award rather the immediate theme the practitioners are participating.
